Saturday morning Jennifer and I did our 6 mile run. We decided to tough it out and did a hilly workout since we were only running 6. I had lifted the day before so my legs were feeling kind of shot, but we did it, and I feel much better going into next Saturday's half marathon in Nashville. I know I won't be intimidated by the hills on the course. After the run I did get out for an easy bike ride. I was feeling good and took the hilly route. It was a great day for a bike ride, but by the time I was done, I was exhausted. Kevin had the boys at the gym for about an hour after I came home from the bike ride, so I had time to shower and stretch.
Parker went down for his nap, and Kevin did yard work while Andrew and I played outside. It is hard not to be in a fantastic mood when it is 75 and sunny. Against my better judgement, I decided to water the garden with Andrew's 'help'. It started out pleasant enough with Andrew "washing" the broccoli.
After Andrew took control of the hose, the fun really started.
He had an absolute blast. I had the nozzle turned to mist, so he only got me a little wet........
But not for lack of trying.
Here are some pictures of Parker from this week. He turned 10 months on Friday. He is such a joy to have. He is saying Mamamama and looking at me, but Kevin thinks he is just babbling still. On Friday he did say dididi at Kevin, so I am not so sure he does not know what he is trying to say. He is also a moving machine. He has been crawling and standing for a few months, and I am convinced he will be walking soon. He has to, so he can keep up with his brother.

Finally here are two pictures from bath tonight. Andrew loves to help wash Parker's back and give him toys to play with. Despite protests from Kevin and I, Parker likes to stand in the tub.
Unfortunately, things did not end so well. Parker was trying to stand up (yes, he is trying to bite the tub), and before Kevin and I could get him to stop, Andrew attempted to help him stand up. Poor Parker was so slippery that Andrew lifted him up and Parker slid right over the side of the bath tub. Luckily I was sitting on the floor and I basically caught Parker, but it was definitely the end of bath night.
